The senior class recently got back from its spring break trip. The majority went to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, while others ventured to locations around the United States, Punta Cana was a beautiful destination, and the group couldn’t have asked for better weather. They stayed at Bavaro Princess Resorts, an all-inclusive paradise. The resort was a blast.
“My favorite part of Punta was finding coconuts on the ground,” said senior Will Barry.
During the day people hung out and danced at the pool or had a nice relaxing day at the beach. In the warm sun, anything you did was fun. The pool parties consisted of music, dancing, cornrows and hennas; one day there was even a foam party. Many went on excursions too, like dune buggy-ing through the rainforest and jumping in a tropical lagoon. Others decided to zipline or go on a boat ride.
“My excursion was super fun! I did the side by side. Eating dinner by the ocean was really cool too,” said senior Blake Chearhart.
The resort had a huge beach with a luxury pool and plenty of palm trees for shade. In the morning, the buffet was stocked and the peacocks were chirping. At night the dance floor lit up and the music was blasting. Every night when the sun went down, the resort hosted beach parties with music and food. Everyone who went had a great time.
“Punta Cana was one for the books and a trip I’ll never forget,” said senior Angela Davis.
