It’s that time of the year again. The annual Night of the Stars is quickly approaching at THS. The senior class has voted, and the nominees are up! Students are handed packets with categories like most likely to be famous, social media king and queen, and best eyes in them.
Then they choose a classmate for each one. The packets are then turned back in and the votes are tallied up. The top three nominees are picked for each category, and the Night of the Stars is where the winners are announced. The sports hall of fame is also included, where the top athletes at THS are recognized. It is a very formal event. Night of the Stars is scheduled for May 25 in the auditorium.
“It is flattering that my classmates love my art as much as I do. I am so excited to get all dressed up for the award ceremony,” senior Laine Carmona said. Laine was nominated for best artist and cutest couple with her boyfriend, Noah Carrico.
