‘Pit’ carries on Trojan tradition
As snow rolls in over the Downriver area, so does the excitement for winter sports. At Trenton High School, the student athletes have been blessed to have such a supportive following both from the community and THS students.
It has always been a tradition for the students at Trenton to gather and support all sports teams. Although it has always been around, the student section recently gained its name The Trojan Pit by the leaders of the graduating class of 2014.
Each year the baton is passed down to two seniors who have the most school spirit. This year the leaders are seniors Liam Jackson and Vincent Guarriello. In order to maximize school spirit at each game, the Trojan Pit leaders choose special themes such as blue and gold, Americana, and camouflage.
