Several projects are in the works for the Grosse Ile School District following the recent passing of the school bond proposal May 3. Since then, Superintendent Joann Lelekatch and School Board officials have begun ensuring the projects mentioned in the proposal come to pass.
Officials said the bond proposal will enable the school district to enhance student safety and security while keeping the schools up to date and in good repair.
Lelekatch said she would like to thank the community for the “overwhelming support” toward the school district. She said the approval of the bond will assure the schools and their facilities are up-to-date and in good repair for this generation and the next. [Read more…]
