Three Trenton business owners recently were honored by Keep Michigan Beautiful for their efforts to beautify their establishments.
The awards were announced at a luncheon in Lansing in late October. Since none of the owners were able to be on hand for that presentation, two local board members for KMB made arrangements to present the awards locally last month.
Colleen Gimpel, secretary for the KMB board and a Grosse Ile resident, made the presentation to Dr. Greg Raspbury, owner of the Village Animal Healthcare, and to Laurie Dixon, owner of Savannah’s restaurant, at the Nov. 6 meeting of the Trenton City Council. [Read more…]
