Memories will tantalize the senses during the 33rd annual “Somewhere in Time” Festival on Sunday, Sept. 17, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. in Wayne County’s Elizabeth Park.
The hands of time will be turned back to recapture the flavor of a bygone era in our history. Visitors will be transported back in time to recapture the rich heritage and beauty of Elizabeth Park, the first Wayne County Park, as it was in the early 1900s through a variety of special activities and attractions, including River Boat Tours, A Walk through Automotive Time Car Show, enhanced crafts, vintage finds and farmer’s market area, and old-time entertainment reminiscent of this bygone era in our history.
A number of other “must see” attractions are also scheduled. There will be historic tours by the water. Take an old-fashioned riverboat ride aboard the famous Diamond Jack River Boat Tours.
