Hello Friends of the Trenton Trib. As I prepare this article on Aug. 14, it’s my birthday and the 72nd anniversary of the end of World War II. I am a little incapacitated this month and recovering.
Unfortunately (as life would have it), I had an incident that caused me to injure my arm. But, with the help of a friend, I was still able to get this month’s article ready. I just wanted to thank the Grosse Ile EMS and how quickly and carefully they got me over the one-way bridge during construction. Words of caution to those who live in a condo or apartment — carefully watch the water in the bath tub! It can cause a lot of inconvenience and long term repairs for everyone involved. Life is full of ups and downs, keep a good attitude.
September is the first month of the autumn season. On Labor Day, Sept. 4, we celebrate American workers and how hard work has helped this country to do well and prosper, and Sept. 10 is Grandparents Day, celebrating a day to honor your grandparents as well as the contributions made to society from all seniors.
