What’s up at AMS?
It’s time to say goodbye to the school run and hello to the summer fun. It seems not too long ago I was writing about how we were all coming back to school. Now school is out. Time sure flies when you’re having fun.
In our last few days of school, specifically nearing the end of May, each grade will have participated in some type of reward to celebrate their end-of-the-year accomplishments. The sixth graders went to see a movie, the whole grade at one movie theater, sounds like a handful but it’s fun.
My grade, seventh, attended a Toledo Mudhens game, which, I myself, am very excited about. Eighth grade, in my opinion, has the best end-of-year reward. They got to experience a day at Cedar Point, I know I am looking forward to that next year.
Of course, in order to participate in these events you need to have followed the requirements. A student must not be absent too many days, or have received more than two ODR’s (office discipline referrals), and no grade lower than a C. One of the things students love about AMS is the positive behavior events.
Most if not all students are ready for summer. School is great, but I know everyone will enjoy their free time for the year, and we’ll be back before you know it!
