It’s August, the eighth month of the year, named after Augustus Caesar, an autocrat of ancient Rome. August brings thoughts of last days of vacation and preparation time for returning to school and college; shopping for clothes, books, and other essential supplies.

Michigan has some similarity to most states in the U.S.A.
