HENRY FORD HOSPICE IS SEEKING COMPASSIONATE VOLUNTEERS TO OFFER SUPPORT TO TERMINALLY ILL PATIENTS IN THEIR HOMES AND IN NURSING HOMES:
Henry Ford Hospice is offering a ten-hour volunteer training program. The training will be held at the Henry Ford Hospice Wayne Team office, 17333 Federal Drive, Suite 260, Allen Park MI on May 4, 6 to 8 pm, May 13, and 20, from 9 am to noon. A few of the topics presented will include the Hospice philosophy, death and dying, and grief and loss.
Volunteers help make a person’s final days more meaningful. As a vital part of the hospice team, volunteers help provide the extra support terminally ill patients and their families deserve.
