To the Editor: This is Marley Bob Davis. He is a 3-year-old Standard Poodle but thinks he’s a human boy. He is our dedicated Third Street neighborhood watchdog. He likes to spend the day laying in the front yard waiting for neighbors, the mailman, UPS driver, someone out for a walk, his dad in a fire truck and other animals (including squirrels) to come and say hello. He loves apple treats, his stuffed animals and especially his squeaky cheeseburger. Marley LOVES to go for car rides, especially if we go to the D-O-G P-A-R-K. I had to spell it out because if he hears me or sees me typing it he will continue to ask all day long! Marley knows several tricks such as “high five,” “give a hug” and “bang bang,” but the best trick of all is he taught us to say YES, when he needs or wants us to do something for him! Marley is one of a kind and we couldn’t imagine our lives without him.
