As a licensed professional counselor, Candice Worthy spends her days making others feel worthy. With a background in child welfare, social work and adoption, for the past 10 years, Worthy has strived to help children, adults and couples build their self awareness.
“In my practice, I gain the most satisfaction from my patients’ self actualization moments.” said Worthy. “It is all about creating hope and change by providing options.”
Worthy specializes in marriage counseling, addiction counseling, mental health counseling, couples counseling, child counseling, family therapy and crisis intervention.
Her office is calming, with comfortable seating and scenic artwork where she practices cognitive behavior therapy. She even offers a special chocolate therapy to her clients with the special message, “You are worthy.”
“I feel like I have made a difference when I get a note or call from someone that has overcome an addiction or is now in a successful relationship,” she said.
The wife and mother of a 3-year-old keeps very busy, but is currently accepting new patients. Personally she practices what she teaches by finding the balance between work and assisting others. Her family enjoys traveling and spending time together.
